On the 16th December the Parish Council along with a few helpers toured the Parish with Santa and his sleigh on a whistle stop tour on board a lorry kindly donated by a local sponsor.

Free sweets were handed out to all children and the event was covered by BBC Radio Lancashire.

The route and timings was as follows:-

• 6.00pm Depart Media House on Burnley Road
• 6.15pm Walton Arms Public House
• 6.40pm Workers Memorial on Burnley Road next to the Xmas Tree
• 7.05pm Whalley Road near to Sydney Street area
• 7.15pm Whinney Hill Road and Stanley Park housing estate
• 7.30pm Whalley Road- Altham West
• 7.45pm Livingstone Road next to ASFC.
• 8.00pm Return to Media House

As a result of donations provided in collection buckets over £200 was presented to the East Lancashire Hospice.
